WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Live bake-alongs with the rest of the club via ZOOM:
It's such a fun & unique experience baking with other kids via ZOOM. It's all from the comfort of your own home with Heather as your expert guide. Recipes are sent out the week before with no fancy ingredients or equipment required! During our live bake-alongs, Heather's video stream is recorded and the video goes in to our exclusive recipe library so you can catch up anytime.
Baking Club bakes together fortnightly on a Sunday afternoon at 3pm (see the current calendar for more details).
Home-school Baking Club bakes live together fortnightly on a Thursday at 11am NZ time. You can join BOTH groups at no extra cost and even if you can only attend some live, EVERY recipe is recorded and added to the library so you never have to miss out!

A collection of sweet and savoury recipes, all with videos from previous bake-alongs. Each recipe is designed to be kid-friendly, fun and teach a variety of different skills.
Recipes are written especially for Kiwi & Aussie kids. There's no confusion trying to make substitutions.

I get it. I'm a busy mum too. Our live bake-alongs are only an hour out of your week every fortnight, and there's no pressure to make it to a live session every time. The bake-alongs are always recorded and added to our recipe library. Most recipes take under an hour start to finish- perfect for catching up after school or weekends.
“I’m not a good baker.”
That’s the beauty- you don’t have to be. The bake-along videos walk you and your child through everything step-by-step.
“Isn’t baking with kids… messy?”
Not with structure & guidance. Think confidence, not chaos. (Okay, maybe the odd sprinkle on the floor- but that’s what brooms are for!). I'll be the nag to help them remember to clean up, so you don't have to!
“My kids don't like it?”
That's ok! No hard feelings. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time. I promise I do try and make all of our recipes & live baking sessions engaging and enjoyable.
“I don't want more sweets & baking in the house?”
I get it. We do a mixture of both sweet and savoury recipes in our library and live bake-alongs. Homemade baking in lunchboxes (whether sweet or savoury) for the week is generally a better option than many of the processed options available. Why not let them create something delicious for their lunchbox, all while gaining those life-skills and having fun?

WHO'S BEHIND THIS?
Hi, I’m Heather 👋. I’m a teacher, a mum, and a long-time believer that the kitchen is one of the best classrooms there is. I’ve baked with hundreds of families, and I know the magic that happens when kids get a little flour on their hands (and sometimes the floor 🙃).
I started Baking Club because I saw a real need for more kids to get in the kitchen. My primary teacher hat says "there's so many skills & benefits to kids being in the kitchen" and my mum side says "let's make this easy!"
That’s why everything inside Baking Club is designed to be simple, fun, and confidence-boosting- for both kids and mums.
